Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform WSSTP The Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform is an initiative of the European Commission within the European Environmental Technology Action Plan -ETAP. Dear Integration4water Internet Service users,

One of the objectives of Integration4Water is to facilitate the involvement of the organisations from the new member States and associated Candidate Countries (especially SMEs, industry representatives and technology suppliers) in the activities of the European Water Supply and Sanitation Technologies Platform (WSSTP), particularly in the implementation of the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) and the realisation of the Pilot Themes Programme.

Description of the Pilot Themes Programme is presented on the Integration4Water web page () as well as in the WSSTP SRA and the Implementation plan to be downloaded from the WSSTP web page ()

With this message we would like to encourage you or your industrial partner/SME or NGO to fill in a questionnaire and get involved in building an important database for Consortia and/or to find potential partners in other MS to develop project proposal related to the topics of the Pilot Themes:

Pilot 1: Mitigation of water stress in coastal zones

Pilot 2: Sustainable water management inside and around large urban areas

Pilot 3: Sustainable water management for agriculture

Pilot 4: Sustainable water management for industry

Pilot 5: Reclamation of degraded water zones (surface water and groundwater)

Pilot 6: Proactive and corrective management of extreme hydro-climatic events

Your questionnaire will also strengthen the position of the New Member States and Associated Candidate Countries that have not been involved in the WSSTP activities yet.

The added value for an organisation when they fill in the EoI will be visibility and a higher chance to be asked as partner in a Consortium. Of special interest are questionnaires from industrial partners , NGOs and very specifically technology suppliers (preferably SMEs)
